The Employment Specialist provides support and assistance to individuals with disabilities that will enable the individual to develop skills and enhance their ability to secure employment.
  • Conduct Situational Assessment
  • Provide job development services by helping consumers in obtaining employment, including support with resume writing, job application, interview preparation, and follow-up with employers.
  • Support with job placement and training by providing one-to-one support to assist with learning the job.
  • Provide Follow-Along services by ongoing contact on the post-job placement to assess job performance, employer satisfaction, and levels of training and/or support needed.
  • Provide support to students with disabilities (Pre-Employment Transition Services) with employment services, and/or help them in learning skills for employment.
BA/BS degree in education, vocational rehabilitation, social work, business, or related field and two years of related experience in employment services.

Pay: $24-$28 Per Hour
